Day 2 Telavi – Kisiskhevi – Tsinandali
Tour in Tsinandali. Tsinandali Estate is the cradle of classical winemaking of Georgia, the place where Georgian wine was first bottled. The Tsinandali estate is encircled with well-maintained gardens and rare tress not found elsewhere in Georgia. The house itself has been converted into a museum honoring the poet, Alexander Chavchavadze. Behind the museum, there is the famous Tsinandali winery where we can stop and have a lunch and wine tasting in the oldest Enoteca. We will walk through the garden where the rarest plants of Georgia are exhibited.
Visiting Telavi City Here we will visit King Erekle II fortress. Batonis Tsikhe” (fortress of master) in Telavi is considered to be the best preserved medieval royal palace in Georgia. Built by King Archil in 1667-1675, it was the residence of Kakhetian kings during the 17th and 18th centuries. The site was expanded in the second half of the 18th century by King Erekle II. Day 3 Ananuri – Kazbegi
Visit Ananuri complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes. The complex features churches and towers dating back to the 16-17th centuries, beautifully overlooking the Jinvali reservoir. Drive further to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for keeping different colors even after they merge. Then, drive over the Cross Pass and a short stop at the Soviet-era “People’s Friendship” mountain view point overlooking a deep gorge in the Caucasus Mountain range. In
Kazbegi, we will reach Gergeti holy trinity church located at the altitude of 2170 m and enjoy breathtaking views of the Mount Kazbegi.

Day 4 Rabat fortress – Vardzia (rafting) – Borjomi
Tour to Borjomi. Take a walk in Central Park famous worldwide with its mineral water reserves.
After some walking in Borjomi we’ll visit Vardzia. Arrive to Vardzia, which was erected in the 12-13th centuries during the rule of George III and his daughter Queen Tamara to protect southern boundaries of Georgia. Vardzia is not just a set of random rooms cut in rocks. It is a multi-storied complex with streets, tunnels and stairs leading to monasteries, temples, fortresses, baths, libraries dwelling houses and so forth. Return to Akhaltsikhe to explore the Rabati fortress. The old stone Rabati fortress, the main sight of the Akhaltsikhe town, is standing on the small hill on the very shores of the Potskhovi river. Its name comes from Arabic meaning “fortified place”.

Day 5 Borjomi Kutaisi Tour
We are driving to see Monastery Bagrati and Monastery Motsameta. Bagrati Cathedral, a masterpiece of the medieval Georgian architecture, the cathedral suffered heavy damage throughout centuries and was reconstructed to its present state. Thereafter we will visit Gelati Monastery and Academy. Gelati was a cultural hub of Georgia's medieval 'golden age', and many Georgian rulers were buried here, including the great 12th-century king, David the Builder. Throughout this tour to visit Sataflia Cave, you will be guided to this lost world, exploring the nature and environment in which dinosaurs used to live. Day 6 Uplistsikhe – Mtskheta
We’ll visit to Mtskheta the ancient capital of Georgia is the important religious centre and a museum city that is on the list of the world sights of UNESCO. It is situated at the convergence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi Rivers. There are a number
of very significant archaeological and religious monuments in and around the town, the most significant among which are: Svetitskhoveli (11th c.)-a grandiose cathedral of cross-dome design, known as the burial site of Christ's mantle. Jvari Monastery (6th c.)-standing on the rocky mountaintop, with its architectural forms and decorative elements, Jvari is harmoniously connected with the landscape and overlooks Mtskheta.
We continue our trip to the ancient fortified city Uplistsikhe cut inside the volcanic rocks of the Kvernaki ridge. It was first mentioned in the annals of the 1st century BC and prospered in the 9th -10th centuries. Even from afar this quaint rocky city looks bewitching. Looking like giant pores on the rocks gape the cave grottoes, which used to be full of life. Long time ago there were huge majestic halls, temples, dwellings connected by winding corridors of streets. It is hard to believe that this grandiose titanic creation of the whole city from stone was done by human hands.
